Fishing Captiva and Sanibel for the holidays

The first weak cold fronts are moving thru  Southwest Florida this week. The days are a little shorter and the mornings are cooler. I've been on the lookout for the fall arrival of Spanish Mackrel, Pompano, and maybe Kingfish.  Redfish are getting ready to migrate offshore, leaving smaller redfish to spend the winter growing up without the adults.  The Snook are feeding as the spawn is over, they are fattening up for the winter. This is the time of year to catch most of your favorite species, you just have to plan to get out there!. call today to book your adventure. Captain Dave

Captiva Beach Fishing

October brings the hope of cooler weather but has yet to deliver more than a few degrees of relief in the mornings. The east winds have been perfect for fishing the passes and the beaches. As the Fall comes in, the rains will subside, bringing clearer waters.  We will be sight fishing snook on the beach for the next month and then we will be fishing for Mackerel and Pompano. Always something to catch and some beautiful weather to enjoy. Call today to book !. 239-410-7194
