Sanibel in December

The warm weather has kept the fish in their fall locations and biting like its summer. Lots of 70-80 degree days so far and the fish like it!.

October ended with a warm day this year. I spent the day collecting a hand full of new Shimano Teramar inshore rods. Getting five that matched took most of the day. I'm using a 5 year old pair of TMS X70MH for snook fishing. Each rod has landed over a thousand snook and several tarpon each year. My new set is a medium weight for a better balance. Their first day fishing will be November second. Book today to try out these rods with me!.

Captiva fishing

The storms took the day off and I had the pleasure of guiding the Rosenberg family. We caught some snapper, a flounder and a couple of redfish that were too big to keep. Thanks for good folks and fair weather!.

Sanibel Summer Fishing

This summer has been busy for families on vacation . Warm mornings have offered smooth seas and a variety of fish. Dolphins, Manatees and a few big sea turtles have entertained. I'm open 2-3 days per week now. Call and book today.

Fishing goes on between the rain near Sanibel and Captiva . A few redfish and snook were biting the last week . I'm open August 18,19,24 or 26.

Sanibel and Captiva summer vacation

Today I got to fish with lucky Joey and Ryan. The rain storm was fast approaching and the boys worked quickly to land several snook and jacks. Thanks to the dads for helping with the rods and baits !.

Sanibel in July

The first week of July is the opening of gag grouper season. We caught some nice fish the first five days and then there were none. I will check the grouper hangouts now and then until December, when the season closes. I'm open July 30,  31st and  August 6th on. Call or email to book your day!

Summer time is warm and lazy near Sanibel  island. We went shelling on nearby island beaches and sand bars and found a alphabet cone!, empty and ready to join a lucky shel collection . Fish are still biting too. I'm open 7/21,22,24,27,28,29. Call today,

Sanibel summer fishing

Beautiful sunsets are the norm after it rains in Sanibel island. Mornings have started cool and heated up by noon. Thankfully the water is 84 degrees, add a breeze and it's ok. Snook love warm water. Here's s few photos of the lucky anglers and their catch . I'm open June 24,25, and 29th.

The last week has brought some high winds that limited our choices. Late season cold front has brought morning temperatures to 65 degrees and afternoons to the low 80s. The last 2 weeks of June have plenty of openings.
