Sanibel Fishing Charter
Mackerel are off the beaches in big schools. I have been taking advantage of East winds that have the water flat calm on the gulf side to catch as many as you want. On the inside of Sanibel I have fished the flats for Redfish and the occasional flounder. Plan your trip and call today.

Snook and Trout in the Afternoon
August has been fun fishing between the rain clouds. The overcast days have dropped the water temperature into the mid 80's. When we are out the scattered clouds, the fish seem to turn on and bite. The clear hot days will take the shallow water on the flats up to 90 degrees or more slowing the bite.
The last 3 weeks have been Redfish days in the early morning and snook and Trout in the afternoon. one of my youngest anglers caught a nice inshore slam that included a 10 lb snook. At 7 years old, this angler is off to a incredible start.

July continues to be a steamy and fishy month
July continues to be a steamy and fishy month. Get out on the morning bite to take advantage of the cooler temps and lower chance of rain. During July it's a good idea to bring a rain jacket with the sun screen. Redfish and snook are the target this month.

Tarpon continue to bite !
Tarpon continue to bite on the full and new moon tides in the passes. I have been drifting crabs in the afternoon to get 1 to 5 bites. Yesterday we went hooked 2 fish that jumped 2 and 4 times before throwing the hook. In the morning we caught snook and a couple of trout.

Tarpon are still here and will be in the Sanibel Island area for all of May and June
The Tarpon are still here and will be in the Sanibel Island area for all of May and June. Last week fishing 2 full days with Bryan and Matt we caught 6 Sharks from 3' to 10', mostly Black tip and Bull sharks. The sharks filled in the wait for Tarpon, we hooked 5 tarpon and got 1 to the boat. The sharks ended up eating the Tarpon at boatside, a sad and spectacular end to the battle. The rest were on for 1 to 3 jumps and up to 15 minutes.
The back bay is still producing Trout, Spanish Mackrel and a few Snook. Redfish have been scattered and less dependable.
If you are looking for Tarpon there are still lots of days open, If you are on vacation and want to take the family out for fun fishing...... Call and book your day. 239-410-7194

Sanibel Island Tarpon Fishing
Early May and it's hot on the water. The Tarpon are biting on the beaches when the wind is blowing out of the east and in Pine Island Sound when it's out of the west. At the Gulf passes the crabs are flowing on the outgoing tides and the Tarpon are there to dine on the buffet. If you are staying on Saniibel Island Captiva Island or are near Ft. Myers, now is the time.
If you are looking to do some drift fishing in the afternoon at a pass with the crabs, I have May 13th,14th,16th,17th and 18th open. In the morning I have been fishing for Snook, Trout, and Jacks.

Sanibel Fishing
Sanibel Island has been busy with lots of fish and fishermen. Beautiful weather has pushed lots of bait onto the flats and predators after them. The last several days have been spent moving around a late cold front that was windy and chilly for 2 days. Each day has produced fish in a variety of sizes. Photos are of some of the notable catches.
Tarpon are starting to trickle in to our areas, I have not hooked one yet but soon we will be fighting the silver king. It's time to book a 3/4 day to chase Tarpon, May has many openings so call today 230-410-7194,

Yesterdays trip produced Trout, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackrel, small sharks, big blacktips, and MORE !
March was a month packed with fish and lots of trips. The variety has been outstanding if you take out the Snook, you can almost pick what you want to target. Yesterdays trip produced Trout, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackrel, small sharks, big blacktips, and finished the day with redfish and flounder. We even tried (unsucessfully) to jump a Tarpon.
Tarpon season will start soon, I have lots of dates open in May and some still open in April. Don't wait until the last minute to book, it has been a busy season .

Sanibel Island Fishing
Winter fishing has been slowly showing signs of spring. December and Janurary have kept me in the small creeks and channels fishing for trout and small reds. The last few weeks have had a few warm days sending all the fish that were way back, out to the flats. All of a sudden good trout are here and ladyfish have invaded. On Sunday we landed our first back bay Spanish Mackrel. There are a few days forecast to get into the 80's!!!. Spring fishing is just around the corner.
Call today to book a trip!
